Finnish refiner Neste Oil (NES1V.HE) said on Wednesday it will merge oil products and
renewable fuels units into one business area.

Matti Lehmus will become the head of the new unit. He has been the head of the oil products business.

Neste Oil also said deputy chief executive and head of renewable fuels unit, Jarmo Honkamaa, will leave the company.

The Finnish firm is investing heavily into renewable fuels production and in November it opened the world's largest renewable diesel plant in Singapore and is building another plant in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

Shares in Neste Oil were 0.3% higher at 10.87 euros ($18.7) by 1017 GMT, compared to a 0.9% stronger STOXX Europe 600 oil and gas index <.SXEP>.
