Ramba Energy to drill two exploration wells in Lemang PSC next year

Mainboard-listed company, Ramba Energy Limited is getting ready to begin the drilling of two exploration wells in Lemang Production Sharing Contract in 2011 following the recent completion of its acquisition in the Sumatran oil and gas block.

Ramba, through its Indonesian affiliate PT Hexindo Gemilang Jaya, now holds 41% interest in the Lemang block.

A total of 4 exploration wells, 500 km of 2D seismic, and 500 square-km of 3D seismic are to be delivered under the Lemang PSC which carries a 30 year-term effective since January 2007. For 2011, Indonesian oil and gas regulator, BPMIGAS has approved 2 exploration wells and some seismic acquisition.

The Lemang block is expected to have 190 million barrels of oil and 189 billion standard cubic feet of gas.
