Shares of online travel reservation site Asiatravel.com <ATVE.SI> fell as much as 6.7% to a near 5-month low after it reported lower-than-expected full-year net profit, a local trader said.

At 11:09 a.m., Asiatravel.com shares were down 4.4% at $0.43 with over 595,000 share changing hands, higher than its average 5 day volume of 517,400.

Asiatravel.com said its net profit for the year ended Sept 30 fell 70% to $1.6 million, compared with $5.5 million a year ago, due to higher operating costs.
