STI still lower, down 0.6% at 3141.12 vs down 0.7% at 3140 midday; market breadth improves though, with two decliners now for every gainer vs 3 to 1 at break. 1.27 billion shares traded worth $1.59 billion.

UOB KayHian says STI slipped below 12-day moving average Tuesday, technical indicators imply decline may be gaining momentum. “We reiterate our conservative/bearish stance and rather stay out for now.” adds, support remains at 3042. 

Among gainers: Genting Hong Kong (S21.SG) +5.7% at US$0.465 ($0.605), Rotary Engineering (R07.SG) +3.7% at S$0.99, XinRen Aluminum (MN5.SG) at $0.645 vs $0.55 IPO price. Decliners include Yangzijiang (BS6.SG), down 2.6% at $1.91, Genting Singapore (G13.SG), off 1.8% at $2.18.
