Temasek Holdings Pte, Singapore’s state-owned investment company, sold its entire 9.6% stake in Hana Financial Group Inc. for 681 billion won ($785 million), two people with the knowledge of the deal said.
Temasek sold Hana shares at 33,400 won apiece, a 6% discount from yesterday’s closing price and lower than its initial offer band of 34,300 won to 35,550 won, said the people, who declined to be identified because the details aren’t public.
The Singapore investment company sought to sell its 20.4 million shares of Hana, according to the terms of the offer obtained by Bloomberg News yesterday.
