Noble Group, the global supply chain manager of bulk commodities, today announced the appointment of Crispin Collier to the post of Senior Vice-President — Nuclear Fuels.

A graduate of The University of Cape Town and The Harvard Business School, Collier started his business career with Mckinsey and Company in South Africa.

His subsequent career experience has seen him working with BHP Billiton in a number of locations — principally in South America, South Africa and Asia.

More specifically, prior to his joining Noble, he has been deeply involved in the development of BHP Billiton’s uranium business with specific responsibilities for a number of its key initiatives.

Tobias Brown, Executive Chairman of Noble Group, says: “Crispin brings a tremendous depth of knowledge of all aspects of the nuclear fuel production and distribution business to our group. His appointment reflects the importance that Noble places on developing this business. It is clear the nuclear energy will play a significant role meeting Asia’s growing need for electricity and we intend to ensure that Noble is able to serve its customers needs in this arena”.
