Fu Yu Corp. (FUYU SP): The manufacturer of plastic injection molds said it sold properties in Tianjin, China, for 34 million yuan ($6.6 million). The stock dropped 3.5% to 14 cents.
Noble Group (NOBL SP): The Hong Kong-based commodities supplier that counts China’s sovereign wealth fund as a shareholder, is seeking to expand its grain and oilseed business to take advantage of rising global food demand, Chief Executive Officer Ricardo Leiman said. Noble climbed 2.1% to $1.91.
Overseas Union Enterprise (OUE SP), a unit of Indonesia’s Lippo Group, said it entered into an agreement with Standard Chartered Plc for a syndicated loan of $750 million. The stock was unchanged at $3.03.
Singapore-listed China energy services firm Sunpower Group said on Monday it has won a 36.5 million yuan ($7.22 million) contract with a major petrochemical player in China to manufacture several energy-saving heat exchangers.
Engineering firm Asiatic Group (ATIC.SI) said on Monday it has secured around $20 million in financing facilities from the Vietnam Development Bank for its 44 megawatts hydropower plants project in Vietnam.
Aluminium products firm Midas Holdings (MIDA.SI) has requested for a trading halt on Tuesday pending announcement.
