Sinopipe wins $60m contract to supply, install pipes in Heilongjiang province

Sinopipe Holdings, the manufacturer of plastic pipes and pipe fittings, announced today that it has, through its 99.1% owned subsidiary, Fujian Aton Advanced Materials Science and Technology won a contract to supply and installation of drainage and sewerage pipes and pipe fittings in Jiamusi, Heilongjiang province,

The Jiamusi project is estimated to be worth RMB300 million ($60 million) in total construction and development fees.

Large diameter steel-plastic composite wound HDPE (high density polyethylene) pipes developed and produced by the group will be mainly used for this project.

Work on the project is expected to start next month and be completed over a period of about two years.

Payment for the Jiamusi project will be made in stages over a period of six years starting from the date of the completion of the project.
