BH Global Marine, the specialist in lightings, cables and electrical equipment for the marine & offshore and oil & gas industries, has secured two major contracts which involved floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels.

With a total contract value of over $20 million, management expects 30% of the orders to be executed in financial year ending 31 December 2010 (FY2010), while the remaining will be recorded in FY2011.

The first contract was inked with a prominent European owner. According to the terms of the contract, BH Global will provide EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) services to an FPSO vessel, which upon completion will be deployed in the fields owned by Petrobras and Chevron. BH Global will carry out the project with the owner in a major shipyard in China which should be completed by end 2011.

This other contract is an order from a key local shipbuilder to handle the supply chain management for offshore cables for one of the FPSO conversion projects.
