Nobel Design Holdings says group revenue for the first half of the current financial year increased 55% to $27.85 million compared to $17.93 million for the 6 months ended 30 June 2009.

Group net profit increased to $3.61 million as compared to a profit of $0.02 million.

Nobel Design says the group’s furniture and interior design division performed well given the robust growth of the Singapore economy and the property market.

Despite high unemployment and weak consumer sentiments in the US, the group’s supply chain division under Buylateral Group Pte Ltd also achieved strong growth.

The group’s property projects under ACT Nobel, Astrid Hill, Dunsfold Residences and Cotswold Residences continue to perform well and contribute significantly to the group’s revenue and net profit.
