The following companies may have unusual price changes in trading today. Share prices are from the previous close. Singapore’s Straits Times Index dropped 0.4% to 2,995.06 on Aug 6. The market was closed yesterday for a holiday.

Palm oil suppliers: Crude palm oil for October delivery increased 2.6% in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, taking gains in the past four days to 6.6%.

Golden Agri-Resources (GGR SP), the world’s second- biggest palm-oil producer, gained 1.7% to 60.5 cents. Indofood Agri Resources (IFAR SP), a unit of Indonesia’s biggest noodle maker, surged 5.8% to $2.54. Wilmar International (WIL SP), the world’s biggest palm-oil trader, jumped 3.7% to $6.45.

Creative Technology (CREAF SP): The consumer electronics maker whose music players compete with Apple Inc.’s iPod, posted a fourth-quarter net loss of US$11.7 million, compared with a loss of US$14 million ($18.9 million) a year earlier. Creative lost 0.5% to $4.01.

MFS Technology (MFS SP): The maker of flexible circuit boards used in mobile phones posted a third-quarter loss of $5.5 million, compared with a loss of $5.9 million a year earlier. MFS dropped 2% to 24.5 cents.

Olam International (OLAM SP): The Singapore-based supplier of agricultural commodities sold US$250 million ($337 million) of 10-year, 7.5% bonds, according to a person familiar with the matter. Olam declined 1.5% to $2.69.

ST Engineering (STE SP): Asia’s biggest aircraft maintenance company said it bought the remaining 30% stake in ST Aerospace Training Academy Pte for $4 million, making the flying school a wholly-owned subsidiary. ST Engineering fell 0.9% to $3.22.

UOL Group (UOL SP): The property developer reported a second-quarter net profit of $147.8 million, compared with a loss $20.1 million a year earlier. UOL was unchanged at $4.10.
