Ntegrator International, one of the leading regional communications network specialists and systems integrators, reported a 59.8% decrease in revenue to $12.7 million for the half year ended June 30, 2010 (HY2010).
Ntegrator says this was largely due to the delay of a major project in Thailand as a result of the recent political unrest in Thailand during the second quarter of the year. But the company expects the project to be substantially completed by the end of this financial year.
Formal finalisation of some contracts that were scheduled to be signed at the end of the first quarter and delivered by the second quarter of this year were also delayed.
The group’s core Project Sales registered a 71.1% decrease in revenue to $8.2 million, due to project delays. This was, however, offset by a 77% jump in revenue for the Project Management and Maintenance Services, which increased from $2.5 million in HY2009 to $4.5 million in HY2010. This improvement was mainly due to contract renewals by existing customers and newly secured project management services in Singapore.
