UBS AG, the largest Swiss bank, appointed David Forsythe as head of prime brokerage sales for Singapore, according to an internal memo.

Forsythe, who was the head of prime brokerage sales for Australia at UBS before joining Kerry Consulting in 2008, will return to the Swiss bank in the middle of the month, David Gray, head of prime services in the Asia-Pacific region, said in the document, obtained by Bloomberg News.

Dan Sofianos will relocate from London to Hong Kong in mid-July to lead the management of the bank’s Hong Kong stock borrowing and lending, according to the memo. Sofianos has been with UBS since 1994 and is a senior equity finance sales trader in its prime brokerage business.

Sean Huang, who is based in Hong Kong, will join UBS on June 7 as senior trader on the Delta One derivatives desk, according to the memo. He comes from Fortis Bank, where he was a senior equity finance trader.

“They all bring with them a wealth of regional and global experience that makes me very confident that we will continue to take market share from competitors,” Gray said in the memo.
