Datapulse Technology, the total solution provider of CD and DVD services in the Asia Pacific region, reported that net profit decreased 57% for the third quarter results for the financial year 2010 (3QFY2010) to $1.4 million from $3.3 million (3QFY2009).
For 3Q FY2010, revenue declined by 6.4% from $12.1 million to $11.3 million due to weak demand for media storage products and services and lower selling prices.
Datapulse says that although the global economy appears to be showing signs of recovery, the current European sovereign debt crisis has added another factor to the uncertainties of its sustainability and the group continues to be challenged primarily by weak demand for media storage products and services and rising raw material prices.
