Sarin Technologies, the developer, manufacturer and retailer of precision technology products for the evaluation of diamonds and gems, says Bhavani Gems, the leading Indian diamond manufacturer, exporter and sightholder of both DeBeers DTC and BHP Billiton, has taken delivery of the first Quazer II.
 

The Quazer II is Sarin’s newest laser system for sawing and shaping diamonds. The company says the system was developed over two years by refining all the original Quazer’s components, sub-systems, and software, introducing the most advanced laser system to the diamond industry.

Uzi Levami, CEO of Sarin, says, “The introduction of the Quazer II technology into the production process will provide diamond manufacturers the best green laser solution for cutting and shaping rough diamonds to be offered for sale. We intend to enhance this product with the Strategist software product, which will be launched later this year and will further optimise the sawing and shaping process, ultimately enabling the operator to take Galaxy 1000 inclusion mapping output data into account.”
