SIA Engineering says profit attributable to equity holders for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2010 was $73.9 million, an increase of $8.4 million or 12.8% over the same period last year with the quarter’s results benefitting from surplus on disposal of fixed assets and write-back of tax provisions by an associated company.

Revenue of $272.6 million for the quarter increased $26.8 million or 10.9% over the same period last year. This was primarily contributed by fleet management programme and airframe and component overhaul work.

SIA Engineering is recommending a final ordinary dividend of 13 cents per share (tax exempt one-tier). Together with the interim dividend of 5 cents per share (tax exempt one-tier) paid earlier, the total dividend payment for FY2009-10 will be 18 cents per share. This is an increase of 2 cents per share over the dividend paid in FY2008-09.
