KSH Holdings back in black with net profit of $5.2m for 3Q

For 3QFY2010, KSH Holdings says it achieved a turnaround in net profit after tax to $5.2 million from a loss of $0.9 million in the same corresponding period last year.

This was achieved on the back of $82.5 million in revenue in 3QFY2010 with contribution from a new project and other ongoing projects that are progressing into more advanced stages of construction.

The construction business also saw an increase of $3.6 million in margin contribution to the group’s profit operations in 3QFY2010.

KSH Holdings says it has existing order books of about $390 million.

Contracts won in 2009 include a $83.4 million contract from NUS to build two residential colleges and five blocs of common facility buildings for the NUS University Town, a $36 million contract from NUS for the construction of Watten Residences and a $40.3 million contract from NUS for the construction of a four-storey Educatin Resource Centre at the NUS University Town.
