CWT says wholly-owned subsidiary, Indeco Engineers, has secured a contract with the Singapore Armed Forces to maintain military vehicles and equipment. The six-year contract for the maintenance services is estimated to be worth more than $30 million.
The contract requires proactive engineering, maintenance and management services such as maintenance scheduling, servicing and repair for a fleet of military trucks. The contract is effective from Jan 20.
Recently, CWT acquired Force 21 Equipment as part of its strategic plan to expand its defence logistics business and provide supply/procurement services.
A regional solutions provider for security, defence and rescue gear and equipment, Force 21 will enable the company to offer higher value-added supply/procurement logistics solution to local and overseas defence industry, says CWT.
CWT is now able to offer a complete range of defence related services covering logistics, engineering and procurement.
