Sinotel Technologies, the provider of wireless telecommunications infrastructure and solutions in China, says the group has been awarded the first phase of China Unicom’s 3G Online Sales & Marketing System worth RMB15.3 million ($3.1 million).
The Online Sales & Marketing System will enable subscribers and distributors to procure 3G products and services online, showcase the China Unicom’s products and services and monitor and analyse its subscriber’s needs.
As the roll-out will be done in phases, China Unicom has indicated that the total budget allocated for the 3G Online Sales & Marketing System is RMB150 million, expected to be completed over a period of the next 18 months.
China Unicom says the system will become its main platform for sales of 3G products and services and will be deployed countrywide.
