WATCH Amalfi (opens on Oct 22 by GV), a Japanese action drama about a single mother's desperate search for her daughter, who was kidnapped when the two were on vacation in Italy. Complicating matters is the fact that the Japanese foreign minister is due to arrive in town for the G8 meeting. Stars Yuji Oda, Yuki Amami and Erika Toda and directed by Hiroshi Nishitani.
MAKE a date with NyLas in its concert, NyLas in Wonderland. Nominated Best Vocal Group at this year’s Taiwan Golden Melody Awards, this Taiwanese pop group combines electronic beats with acoustic guitar and dreamy rock melodies and ballads and even children’s songs.

BE entertained by Shocks & Shiok!, a Halloween double bill featuring Vampire Monologues by Gary Ow and The Patient by Dennis Chew. Directed by Samantha Scott-Blackhall and produced by ACTION Theatre’s artistic director Ekachai Uekrongtham, it stars Chermaine Ang, Crispian Chan, Claude Girardi and Elizabeth Tan in two tales about a vampire who dreams of becoming a top comedian and an aged Singapore man's relationship with a rookie Shanghainese nurse.
